Since I was a small child horses have been a part of my life. For over 30 years I have loved, ridden, cared for and rescued horses.  When my husband Keith married me, he knew we would always have horses in our lives, but little did he know how it was going to change our lives.

Many years ago I read an article on using miniature horses as therapy animals.  I was completely captivated by the idea of being able to help others with the assistance of the animals I loved so much.  I bought JJ with that thought in mind and he became my first therapy mini.  Someone once warned me that Minis are like potato chips, and I knew that I couldn’t just have ONE.

Our herd continues to grow and the love we are able to share continues to multiply,
We regularly visit senior assisted living, nursing homes, rehab and memory care facilities, veteran facilities, and home hospice patients. We have contributed at Critter Camp (teaching kids kindness with animals), Special Olympics, Buddy-Walk for Down Syndrome as well as visited schools - from preschool learning about animals to colleges for finals anti-stress events and everything in between.  We participated in helping the PTSD healing process by those affected by the San Bernardino shooting in 2015.

We are a non-profit organization and function solely on volunteers and the generosity of those that support our efforts through donations.  We are registered through Pet Partners and my hope is to continue making a difference in peoples lives, one hoof-print at a time.

We function solely on the generosity of others.  Consider making a donation to help support our efforts.  A donation is easy through PayPal, just click on the Donate button below.  We thank you for your support.
